SUPPLY AIR CEILINGS – PRECISE INJECTION OF FRESH AIR

As a tailor-made one-off product, the EMK supply air ceiling system is specially adapted to the needs of your commercial kitchen. For a uniform appearance, natural anodised aluminium is used, which is more resistant than colour-coated elements and displays no colour differences even after repeated cleaning. As an option, colour accents can also be added or a design in CRNI 1.4301 chosen.

The supporting structure consists of EMK strip lights, T-sections and edge angles made of aluminium, identical to the lamps of the EMK exhaust air ceilings. For hygiene reasons, only as many panels are perforated as required to supply the necessary fresh air into the room without any draughts. This is connected to the EMK supply air boxes by the ventilation installer in accordance with the chart below.

Flexibility

EMK supply air ceilings can be flexibly adapted to any building shape. Details such as columns are measured in situ and manufactured accordingly. Electrical installations are fitted in consultation with the installer.

Skylight protection

Skylights are kept away from steam by a targeted fresh air supply via EMK supply air ceiling skirts.

Acoustics

EMK acoustic ceilings are recommended for sculleries, in order not to detract from the restaurant’s cosy atmosphere with the disruptive clattering of crockery. Like all EMK systems, these adaptable custom-made items can also be used in any building.
