About the project
Design and functionality in perfect harmony
The oval kitchen range designed by the interior designer and the smoke barrier created in the same shape formed the basis for the construction of this unique item. This exhaust air system, which meets the special requirements of steam generation, was developed and constructed in collaboration with the architect and building services expert planning. Thanks to the optimally positioned exhaust ducts, soiling of the panels with integrated lighting is reduced to a minimum. The vapours spreading at a 12° angle are swiftly suctioned off by the selectively positioned eddy current filters. As in the case of a normal ventilation ceiling, the EMK zone system also offers valuable services in this design. The extraction power can be redirected at any time within the 70-m2 EMK free flow exhaust air system by means of EMK regulator valves. This ensures that it corresponds to any reconfiguration of the thermal appliances.
The installation was customised with millimetre accuracy in the EMK manufacturing department, welded together using flanges and checked for the accuracy of its shape. The inspected shaped parts were then installed by EMK specialists on site.
